ike Schwartz is one of a rare breed of guitar players that can play both solid lead and rhythm guitar. With the ability to play anything from Jazz to Funk, and Country to Rock, and not to mention a really nice guy, Mike is an asset to any organization.
He started playing guitar at the age of 10, performing in his first band at 11. During this time, he became heavily influenced by the sounds of Carlos Santana, Rick Derringer, and Three Dog Night. Mike has played with many well-known bands including Pat Garrett, Flamin' Dick and the Hotrods, Fourplay, Impact, Lynx, and with Burning House for over 15 years. Mike has also had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Chicago, Huey Lewis and the News, The Drifters, Lonestar, Sara Evans, Sons of the Desert, Crash Test Dummies, Dan Seals, and Eric Heatherly.
Mike resides outside of Reading, PA with his wife Renee. They have four children together. |
